On both Surface Pro 4 and Surface Book, Microsoft is addressing various flickering issues when using Microsoft Edge and other applications with an update to the UEFI and HD Graphics 520. There is also a fix for the an auto-rotate problem after resuming from hibernation and detaching the keyboard. In addition, a new set of drivers for the Surface Camera significantly improves the stability of Windows Hello, and the front and rear cameras. Also, users will see a more specific Windows Hello driver update (v1.0.45.0) that further improves Windows Hello stability. Specific to Surface Book, the April 2016 firmware update brings an update for the NVIDIA GeForce GPU driver update (v10.18.13.6200) to add support for some games. Specific to Surface Pro 4, a new Surface CoSAR driver update (v1.0.47.0) is rolling out to add support for additional Wi-Fi signal algorithms to improve signal strength with some 5-GHz access points. On Surface Pro 3, Surface Pro 4, and Surface Book, the software giant is also releasing updates for the Surface Dock to improve stability and compatibility with external monitors and passive video adapters.
