Like if we were in a sci-fi movie, DVE Immersion Room is a product that lets businesses to equip a conference room with specially designed projectors and combines Microsoft’s Kinect sensor to allows businesses to interact with apps like never before possible. Perhaps the most interesting features to note in this demo is how users can interact with the Windows 8 modern user interface and live tiles, as you’ll see in the video the user can scroll and expand apps very easily with hand gestures. Also you can see PowerPoint and Lync now work really well in augmented reality mode with 3D objects, and all without using special glasses. Although, this isn’t the kind of setup anyone can afford, it is really fascinating to see 3D technology only seen in movies coming into reality.
